Welcome to The Straits Wine Company!

        Founded and run by wine lovers, The Straits Wine Company began its journey across South East Asia in Singapore in 2006 with the creation of Singapore Straits Wine Company through its retail arm The Denise Wine Shop. Late in 2007, the company expanded into Malaysia, opening an import and distribution outlet under the name The Straits Wine Company. Now in 2009 the journey continues in the Philippines. Sent by Singapore Straits Wine Company, Mr. Robert Gilliland, a wine expert and an ex Sommelier of Australia's fine dining restaurants Flying Fish and Marque, has headed the opening of the flagship shop of The Straits Wine Company Philippines in Chino Roces, Makati.

        In seeking magic moments caught in a bottle we have searched all over the wine producing world - from the ethereal wines of Burgundy in France, to the robust show stoppers from the Barossa Valley in Australia. However finding them is just the beginning of the story and the journey from the cellar door to the tables of Asia is a long one in a steel box. Through an unbroken temperature controlled supply chain to our seventeen wine shops and two restaurants, thousands of people are now able to experience some of the world's best wines the way the winemaker intended.

        This commitment not only to the wines, but also to their careful transportation and storage, has created partnerships with leading Singapore icons such as Singapore Airlines, Raffles Hotel, Tower Club, Hilton Hotel, The Intercontinental, Duty Free Services (DFS) and the Ritz-Carlton Millennia. Now we bring that same commitment to the Philippines.
